  • How many terminals can I use simultaneously?
  • You can use multiple terminals at the same time. Think of terminals as telephones in your house. You have one telephone number (account), but you can use a variety of different types of phones to make calls such as cordless phones, speaker phones, maybe software, hard-wire phones, etc. For example, you might use a terminal machine along with some software on your PC at the same time. If you need to take internet payments, then you might need to get a second account depending on where a majority of the percentage of transactions are being sourced from. Internet transactions require a different level of risk and systems checks to be in place which is why processors sometimes prefer that you have a second account to separate the risk exposures. Please call to discuss your situation.
